Another Quality Affordable Home built in Mill Creek, Bradenton, FL.  Although not a "Smart Home", this nearly 2,200 sq. ft. home featured a 3 bedroom split design, great room, formal living and dining.

The Brantham, a 2,400 sq. ft. "Smart Home" which provides 2 separate living quarters.  Built in Florida, it became our first "Florida" cape style "Smart" home.
Although not a "Smart Home", Quality Affordable Homes built this 2,345 sq. ft. home in Hidden Oaks, Bradenton, FL and features 3 bedroom split design with 3 full baths (including a pool bath), den, formal LR and DR with large family room. A lot of house for the square footage.
Let's take a tour of our premier model the Windsor. It embodies the totality of what a "Smart Home" can do for you.  Although it is one of our largest "Smart Homes", other models in a much smaller square footage (as low as 1,800 sq. ft.) are available and will accomplish the same goal. A "Blueprint" layout of the home can be accessed on our "Featured Floor Plans" link, fifth box down on the left.
Let's start by looking at the front of the house so you can get a perspective of the room layout when we walk in the front door.
You've just walked through the front door and are standing in the formal living room. You can peer into the multifunctional den/office/guest bedroom.  Although used as an office, it can flex to a bedroom if needed because it contains closet space.  The closet was made deep enough to hide filing cabinets for the office in which it was used.  The door to the far left is a coat closet, and in front of it is the hallway leading to the master bedroom.

Another view to the master bedroom.  Door on the right leads to the lanai (pronounced "lon-i"), which is a Florida term for porch area.  Often the lanai is the protected sitting area adjacent to the pool.
The front door is to the immediate left and we are looking at the formal dining room and hall leading to both the back portion of the house and enclosed stairway, which leads to the 2nd floor.  The second floor is also accessible privately from the 3 car garage, which is part of the "Smart Home" concept, thereby providing a third separate and private living arrangement.  This is great for family and guests visiting you, which tends to happen often if you live in Florida.  Taking a right before the stairway leads you directly into the main kitchen area pictured below.
Here we're looking directly into the formal living room. At the same time, you get a good picture of the lanai as well.
The uppermost picture is the main kitchen and the one below is a picture of the family room taken from the kitchen area.  Entryway to the far left takes you to 2 bedrooms, full bath and a kitchenette. This becomes the "in-law" section.  If used for expanded family application, the kitchenette doubles as a butlers pantry or secondary kitchen, which is great for large family gatherings.
Here we're looking directly at the entry to the "in-law" section.  To keep perspective, the family room is to the right and main kitchen to the left.  The kitchenette is immediately to the left as you pass through the door.
And here is the kitchenette.  We will not picture the two bedrooms and full bath in the "in-law" section, as they are standard rooms.  Nonetheless, the back bedroom has a french door and porch area, which provided the entry point and outside sitting area for the in-law section.  This living area also had a separate security system so privacy could be insured if renting out to a private party.

Once up to the second floor from the private stairway entrance, we come to the third living area, arranged in an efficiency style manner. Pictured here is the 2nd floor kitchenette.

The versatility is that the downstairs area contains the main house section and the "in-law" apartment.  As an "in-law" apartment, first floor access is often critical for elderly family mobility needs.  Yet, such a unit works exceptionally well if renting out to a private party, for the goal of noise and disturbance suppression.

Then the upstairs efficiency style living area is great for the expanded family.  As such, it can be used for helping a newly married couple, teenage quarters, relative visits or just an extra living area for the whole family.

Yet, another Quality Affordable Home built in Wilbraham, MA.  This house provided three living areas and is set on a 54 acre land preserve.  Truly bucolic and beautiful.
